In my opinion this is by far the most logical explanation for all the insanity that surrounded the events of January 6!

President Trump has scared so many wealthy and powerful people that they have gone all out to demonize Trump supporters and President Trump himself.

It turned illegal when they first broke through the perimeter barriers.

Here's your answer........On January 6, 2021, temporary "bike rack" barricades and permanent fencing were deployed around the Capitol. At approximately 12:53 p.m., a crowd overran the outer police perimeter on the west side. Heavily outnumbered officers were gradually pushed back, and by 2:00 p.m., the mob had removed the last barricades on the east side.

Anything AFTER breaching this is Illegal.

I'm not going to search out the videos of the cops allowing the protesters in to the capitol. It's easily searchable.
The front Plaza area where most of the protesters were is not specified as an illegal place to be.

Why show steel fences rather than bike racks?

For your and the forums edification, I posted many weeks ago what was secure and what was not secure. The fences you posted are around the construction side of the Capitol to keep that area clear. The opposite side of the capitol was open.
