Proof that Biden called for Defunding the Police

My point about Social Security is that the president is using his power to offer temporary (for now) suspension of collecting of the payroll tax. I didn't intend to hijack the thread, my point is that one is a national issue while the other is local. I know Biden is full of crap in regards to defunding the police but what difference does it make? He's talking out of his pie hole. By what authority is he able to come to our community and tell us to spend less? Did you really expect him to threaten us by withhold federal funds unless we cut back on police spending?

I posted the video of it on another thread.

The campaign video he put out, where he is being “interviewed” by some handicapped guy in a wheelchair (which is such a pathetic attempt at virtue signaling). The guy asked him if he would redirect funds from the police.

Biden answered “Yes. Absolutely.”

It’s the same video he criticized police for using armored vehicles because its “military” like, and makes the cops like “the enemy”. An armored vehicle....for protection of the police...he is against.

He said he would redirect some funding. Also he said he would provide new federal money for community policing. He also said that using military vehicles like a invading army creates the perception they are the enemy of the people they are supposed to protect.

Also this:

"An edited version of the conversation, which cut out some of Biden's comments, was posted by NowThis News. (Mike Casca, spokesman for Barkan's Be a Hero political action committee, said the edits were done collaboratively between NowThis News and Be a Hero.) The Biden campaign provided CNN with an audio clip that included relevant comments the video did not include.

Biden spoke to Barkan about how to improve policing. He called for a focus on community policing -- those comments did not appear in the video -- and for federal "pattern or practice" investigations into troubled police departments. He also criticized no-knock warrants for drug cases. And Biden said the federal government should have access to records about officers' misconduct.

Then he touted the Obama-Biden administration's efforts to reduce the transfer of surplus military equipment to local police departments.

"Surplus military equipment for law enforcement: they don't need that. The last thing you need is an up-armored Humvee coming into a neighborhood; it's like the military invading. They don't know anybody, they become the enemy; they're supposed to be protecting these people," he said."

Bottom line is that you are a liar. Biden has never supported defunding the police. You take things out of context which is fundamentally dishonest. Being a Trump supporter, that is no surprise as Trump is a congenital liar.

You can’t cry it was edited. The video was put out by the Biden campaign.

The video shows he did not call for defunding the police. He called for moving around some funding but he also would provide more money for community policing.

When you redirect funding from the police THAT is defunding the police. Politicians will tie themselves into knots to avoid saying the specific words, but that's what it is, and it's bullshit to claim otherwise.

No it is not. He said he would redirect some spending. He also said he would provide more money for community policing.

Thanks for posting what Fingers said after his campaign realized the polling wasn't good.

Sorry but they released the full version of what he said.

"Redirecting" is another word meaning "defunding," dumbasss.

No it is not dumbass. Biden also said he would provide federal funding for community policing. That means he will be "re-funding" the police.

Yes it is, turd blossom. That bullshit has already been dissected. What does "community policing" mean, block wardens?

Black Community does not support Biden/Harris Riots and Police Defunding.

The Washington Examiner reported, "Polls showing consistent black voter support for President Trump at levels higher than those of previous Republican candidates may cost Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden the election. Biden's backing from this key voting group is less than it was for 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama."

Yup. Chris Wallace is an anti-Trump liar.

Swing state voters believe Biden wants to defund the police and hasn’t done enough to condemn rioting.
Among all Wisconsin voters, 56 percent say Biden hasn’t done enough to denounce the rioting versus just 31 percent who say he has. (Even among Democrats, 28 percent think he hasn’t done enough.) The numbers are similar in Minnesota at 54/35.
