I read the entire article. These are early teens. The only thing I personally see lacking in this school is the ability for students to work together on assignments and projects, which might come in time--for now it seems they are setting high standards, discipline, etc.

I am a public school teacher and have no problem with this. Most of my colleagues would not either.
