This is rather odd, it is already a crime to try to take part in elections if one is not a citizen. The penalty is severe, and always involves loss of residency and no doubt imprisonment.

I'm not a US citizen and I know full well the seriousness of the penalties for violating election law.

This is not about the integrity of the elections, it is about putting obstacles in front of legal voters.

The funny side though is that I bet that more Democrats have passports than the dumb hick Trump supporting right who've likely never been outside of the US and so have no passport sitting around.
