Imagine you are a semi famous, Latino, actress, actress, and that you are staring in a Spanish language version of the Vagina Monologues. Imagine you do a political ad for someone you like, even if you disagree with him on some issues.

Imagine how the tolerant liberals, the same people who raised holy hell about Hollywood blacklisting, react to the above ad.

Wrong.

The actress was to perform next month at the Brava Theater Center in San Francisco’s Mission District in a Spanish-language version of “The Vagina Monologues,” scheduled for a run from February 14th through 17th. The show is being produced by none other than Eliana Lopez, wife of San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi.
“We really cannot have her in the show, unfortunately,” Lopez told KPIX 5. She said Alonso abruptly resigned from the cast on Friday, given the backlash on the immigration issue.
“Of course she has the right to say whatever she wants. But we’re in the middle of the Mission. Doing what she is doing is against what we believe,” Lopez said.

And, yes, this is about free speech.

Dear faggot liberals:

Imagine if someone wasn't allowed to act because they voted for obama. You would throw the most limp wristed, HIV positive hissy fit the world has ever seen. You'd be prancing around, your limp wrists flailing so much they might fly off.

.

I don't remember the last time I saw a liberal claim to be "tolerant" or "open minded", so I don't think it's really an issue at this point. Both ends of the political spectrum are now quite narcissistic and binary in their approach to anyone who dares to disagree with them on something.

.

Imagine you are a personality on the 700 Club...would it be wise to make a campaign video for the pro choice candidate?

And what exactly does the vagina monologues have to do with her position on politics or immigration? Do they have a right to let her go? Of course. Does their reasoning look foolish and intolerant? Yes.

Imagine you have a pont.

Wait, that would require you to be able to actually think.

I did...which you obviously can't address or you wouldn't be deflecting with ad hominems.

Oh, you believe you can think because your teachers told you you were clever, they lied.

It is wrong to punish people simply because you disagree with their politics. Believe it or not, it is impossible to get infected simply by doing business with someone, or watching them pretend they are a vagina. You actually have to listen to them before they can change your mind, which is why you have nothing to worry about.

Thread fail. In so many ways.

You don't have to worry either.

Sad little man. If you and I didn't both know that you would fire a person who worked for you.....in a split second.....if they told you that they were a Socialist, you might have something to discuss.

You are not a person who cares about such things.....beyond the point where you can muster up some bullshit outrage.

Go on......whine.

You'd think by now the birdbrains on the right would wake up. Wasn't this our last president's BS lines and didn't he fail miserably? Sure he'll do all those things, sure, you wacko birds need shock treatment if this crap still stirs your tiny imagination. As for the women in the ad, I don't know if she was paid to be stupid or just is stupid, doesn't really matter.

"There was a time, not so very long ago, when perfectly rational people ran the Republican Party. So how did the party of Lincoln become the party of lunatics? That is what this book aims to answer. Fear not, the Dems come in for their share of tough talk — they are zombies, a party of the living dead." "The GOP legislation awaiting Romney's signature isn't simply a return to the era of George W. Bush. From abortion rights and gun laws to tax giveaways and energy policy, it's far worse. Measures that have already sailed through the Republican House would roll back clean-air protections, gut both Medicare and Medicaid, lavish trillions in tax cuts on billionaires while raising taxes on the poor, and slash everything from college aid to veteran benefits. In fact, the tenets of Ryan Republicanism are so extreme that they even offend the pioneers of trickle-down economics. "Ryan takes out the ax and goes after programs for the poor – which is the last thing you ought to cut," says David Stockman, who served as Ronald Reagan's budget director. "It's ideology run amok.""

"This year’s Republican campaign may be the most dishonest in history. A couple of weeks ago I listed 10 major falsehoods and gaffes of Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan. He repeated several of them in his Tampa speech, and added a few more. In honest political debate, when a candidate says something that is not true, he is confronted by journalists and the public, and either gives evidence that it is true, or backs off. Ryan continues to insist on repeating known falsehoods, to the extent that even Fox Cable News lamented his dishonesty." Top Ten Repeated Paul Ryan Lies | Informed Comment

Why would I fire a socialist? If they actually believe in socialism they owe me the work, and all I owe them is food and shelter. I would love to have a bunch of socialists working for me.
