If this election cycle has revealed anything, it's how bad the Two Party system has become. Add to that a Liberally biased and mostly worthless media, you have the ingredients of the shit cake we have for American Politics today.

I have been telling people for years elections are a scam. The two parties have so corrupted the process that the candidate in many elections is a foregone conclusion, chosen by the party elite. Redistricting is one of the tools of this corruption, ensuring that either a Dem or Rep will win that district, then the candidate it chosen by the party for that district.

When someone dares run against the chosen party candidate the party spends gobs of money to destroy them. On the rare occasion that person wins, if they cannot be bought off and corrupted once they arrive in Washington they are shunned and primaried at the next opportunity. Welcome to America.

How is that going to happen? If the delegates add up to 1237' the convention is locked into the decision of th voters. If not, then convention rules apply where candidates can convince the delegates to vote for them. It's always been done that way. You can the states vote again. Representative democracy, remember?
