My logic is that the Jews of Russia (who had been buying-up land for the better part of a century prior to 1948) and the surviving Jews of eastern Europe at the end of WW2 were promised a slice of their ethno-spiritual motherland by the British, amongst a scattering of diverse Arab tribes who weren't doing much of anything with the land anyway. The Brits tried to renege on the deal (as articulated during both WW1 and WW2) but, after the Holocaust, the Jews, with no place else to go, dug-in their heels and proceeded to declare Statehood, then fought like hell against long odds to survive - re-discovering their ball$ after 1,900 years.
My logic is that the so-called "Palestinians" were offered the vastly larger slice of the old Ottoman and Byzantine and Roman province of "Palestine" - formerly Israel / Judea / Samaria - with only the small slice going to the Jews, but the bloody Jew-hating Arab savages - the minions of Hitler's close pal the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem - chose hatred instead of peaceful co-existence, and made very bad - downright stupid - choices that their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren are still paying for. Choices have consequences. The idiot Palestinians are now enjoying those consequences. Now it's a formally declared war.
My logic is that the Jews backed away from Gaza a decade or more ago and let the Arabs go their own way but the Jews were soon forced to clamp-down on Gaza once again as the Jew-hating Arab savages chose to use Gaza as base for asymmetric warfare.
