As I said, if you want to nitpick, I can to. It's not alive until there is brain function, period, and then it's not viable until it no longer needs the host to survive. It is a parasite until such time. Saying no after brain function, sure, then it falls into the realm of defenseless life. Before then, the matter is moot.
