The NFL announced the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2022 on December 30.
They are:
There is nobody on the list that you look at and say, "he shouldn't be anywhere near the HOF". At the same time, with the exception of Ware, Holt, and Mills...you can't really say that anyone who doesn't make it qualifies as a crime against humanity. I think Seymour gets in because he's one of the first Patriots from the Brady era to qualify... It'll be fun to see how many more former Patriots make it.
They are:
- Jared Allen, DE – 2004-2007 Kansas City Chiefs, 2008-2013 Minnesota Vikings, 2014-2015 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers
