The nature of why there are problems with our blue cities. It is a grift where the local government leases freedoms to those who can afford them. Specificly, this guy is talking about San Fransisco, but the same thing applies to Chicago, or Portland.

'I observed that San Fransisco, and perhaps other cities as well, seemed to be a sort of market-segmented money extraction scheme whereby the basic comforts of civilization are systematically removed from the environment, and then licensed back as upgrades to those who can afford them.

The military is not supposed to do civilian law enforcement. It's specifically prohibited from doing so by the Posse Comitatus Act.

As a practical matter, they aren't trained for it. I was in the IL ARNG for a number of years, and frankly, if they had sent me out to "support ICE", there really isn't much we could have done. We were trained in infantry tactics, not law enforcement.

The real problem is, ICE has gotten to Chicago, and they really can't find undocumented people, so they are harassing legal immigrants instead. Some of the people they are harassing are even citizens.
