Pressured to visit Chicago ???

I hate C
I am being greatly pressured to visit in the fall for my nephews / nieces bar and mitzvahs

I don’t want to go but I know I should

i would have to fly out of LV on Friday around noon
Return back to LV on Sunday night
This is a tremendous amount of travel for only 2 days

Also I hate parties because I am alone and I feel very uncomfortable

Watch your p's and q's if you go. Chicago is dangerous, no doubt about it.

You have about a 50% chance of getting clipped while you are there. But look at the positive- that means you also have a 50% chance of surviving the trip.

If you don't want to go, then just don't go.

Just send them a note telling them you're not feeling well so you won't be coming to C.

Or simply tell them you can't make the trip for personal reasons.
