Mittens took the boy to the woodshed in the first debate and then let up when Barry started acting like an ex-girlfriend in the second and third. He got terrible advice about seeming to be "mean" to the fruitcake so as not to scare off the wimmens. Fact of the matter is women enjoy seeing a lying snake like Obamo take a beating.
