You'd think that this trump piece of shit would be spending his time doing something about this virus he let get out of hand. Something, anything you fat slob. Even if he had to swallow his pride and ask Obama or Hillary for advice. American lives are at great risk and all this turd knows how to do is hold rallies for the dumbest people in this country...the trump worshippers.

You would expect a president when faced with an epidemic in the US would follow the recommendation of the scientists he has chosen as advisors. The fact is Trump now sees the recommendations by the scientists are at odds with his re-election campaign so he is doing all he can to subvert those recommendations even thou he knows it will bring sickness and death to many people. This illustrates why Donald Trump will never be considered a great president and most probably a one term president. Real presidential courage is doing what you know is best for nation regardless of the personal consequences. This could have been Trump's moment courage.

I'm referring to all of Trump's Scientific advisors on his Pandemic Response Team which include:
Dr. Deborah Birx, Coronavirus Task Force Chair, Physician and Diplomat
Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute on Allergy and Infectious Disease, recognized as the the top infectious disease expert in the United States
Dr. Robert Redfield, CDC director, Virologist and HIV/AIDS Researcher
Dr. Jerome Adams, Surgeon General of the United States
Dr. Robert Kadlec, Assistant Health Secretary for Planning and Response
Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases

All of the above helped create and approve the CDC guidelines for Conronavirus and that includes the president. Also, all of the above with the exception of the president have activity worked to insure the guidelines were followed. For a brief period in March Trump actually supported the guidelines. However, as it became clear that the pandemic response team goals and his campaign goals did not mesh, he made an abrupt change of direction. On March 26th Trump announced they( the response team) were looking into opening churches on Easter, which they weren't. On March 30th he said, "The highest point of the death rate is likely to hit in two weeks," At that time it was 2800 deaths. Two weeks later it was 35,000. Today it's 132,000. In Mid April Trump declared victory over the coronavirus and stopped the meetings of the response team. That was when there were 37,000 deaths. Over the following months, the president used the bully pulpit to mock governors over mask wearing, express his disdain over governors orders, eliminate social distancing in his public meetings and rallies. In fact, he has done everything he could to dissuade the public from following orders of state governors and the CDC guidelines. We would be far better off today if Trump had stayed completly out the picture and let Pence handle it, or just about anyone on his staff, or even Joe the Plumber. Anyone could have done a better job than Trump.
