President Biden is blaming everyone else for surging inflation

I paid $2.46 for gas the other day. Thread fail.
We were at $3.30 for Christmas and now it is $3.49, I'm not sure of why there is an increase but it is going up when it usually will fall after Christmas. Hopefully it will drop in the next couple of weeks.

We are lucky to be still hanging on through the Trump Economy. Of course the Sleepy joe will deflect his failure, get used to it until we can vote his ass out.

If it goes up at that rate every couple of weeks. Get ready for a depression.

The Canadian Keystone pipeline is a leaky ass polluter that carries bitumen, the dirtiest, hardest and costliest to make fuel out of. 70% gets sold to China and others.
Just so I have this straight. You're aware that they are continuing to pull this oil out of the ground, transport and sell it right? So it's going to be moved one way or another. So in your head it's cleaner to load this oil onto rail cars then use a fossil fuel train engine to move it to a port, instead of just putting it in a pipe and transporting it that way? Maybe the carbon footprint math works out that doing that way is better from an environmental perspective, but that seems awful counter intuitive. I did some quick math and based on a train pulling 100 oil tanker cars, the train would use about 64-65k gallons of fuel to traverse the same distance as the keystone pipeline. The keystone pipeline transports about 23 million gallons a day so you would need about 800 train cars or 8 trips (I only did the math on fuel consumption for the trip out not the trip back) or about 520,000 gallons of fuel per day or 189 million gallons a year. Does anyone know how much fuel the pipeline uses once operational? Im assuming less than 189 million gallons a year.

This is why Canada:

  • Won't refine it themselves
  • Won't take the environmental risk of transporting it across Canada
  • Knows the U.S. are greedy suckers
So they ship it via train and oil tanker across the Pacific Ocean so countries like China who don't give 2 shits about polluting do the dirty work for them. How very enlightened of them....

Hahaha. Have you checked out the Canadian oil refineries in Burnaby and Prince George.

President Biden is blaming everyone else for surging inflation

11 Jan 2022 ~~ By James Carter & Jeffery Schmidt
Americans paid more for everything this Christmas, from toys to turkeys. But this “Bah, humbug” reality didn’t start with the Christmas season. Only 1.4 percent when Joe Biden took the presidential oath last January, year-over-year inflation has come in at 5 percent or more for 7 consecutive months. We know inflation is a growing problem because President Biden has repeatedly gone out of his way to shift the blame away from his administration.
Anyone who fills up at a gas pump, for example, knows what a big bite increasing gas prices are taking. President Biden blames higher energy prices on oil and gas producers. As reported in November: “In a letter to FTC chairman Lina Kahn, Biden claimed ‘there is mounting evidence of anti-consumer behavior by oil and gas companies.’”
Having pledged during the campaign to eliminate fossil fuels from our energy future, the president’s hostility to conventional energy was obvious on Inauguration Day. That was before he axed the Keystone XL pipeline and took no fewer than 24 other actions that raised energy prices. And yet, President Biden won’t fess up about the effect his policies have had on energy prices.
~snip~
As Jennifer Stefano wrote for The Hill on November 23: “None of their [Democrats] tax-and-spend proposals will solve the root causes of price increases and shortages — they will only make them go from bad to worse. If Congress wants to continue devaluing the dollar and making Americans poorer, lawmakers should simply stay the course and do what the White House and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) are calling for — spend trillions of dollars in an already overheated economy.”
The bottom line is this: Don’t expect President Biden, his administration, or liberals in Congress to take any blame for the nation’s mounting economic woes. Then again, perhaps Psaki is right, and “people’s psychology” is to blame. (No, not really.)

Commentary:
Real leaders lead. Others blame all others for their faults, mistakes and failures. Our 46th president has proven that he is not and never has been a leader.
Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrat Leftists never accept the responsibility of their failures rather, they always point fingers at their rivals.
When people pay $4.50 at the pump, milk and beef prices double, they look at who in in The White House.
Or, more exactly who is asleep in The White House at noon and never seen on weekends except in their mansion in Delaware or their beach House.
During the year of the 46th president's tenure, each move that he has been made has turned to a self-made disaster for America. From the Keystone Pipeline shutdown, distribution of the Covid vaccines and the testing, to Foreign Policy missteps and disasters in Afghanistan, Iran, China, and now Russia.
Then there's the rampant inflation, Supply chain failure that came to light in November, his latest vaccine mandates that Americans are refusing. and now the 50% reduction in new employment projections.
As the authors have written. Don't look to Biden to accept responsibility for any of his decision in the above projects or situations, each of which have have failed measurably for America and Americans who are his victims.

You are giving us bullshit in a bullshit article. Much of this comes from right wing fascist sources. The reason for rising gas prices is two-fold. First demand has risen faster than expected. Pre-pandemic, there were over 800 oil rigs. During the pandemic, this dropped to around 300 or so. The number of rigs in operation has gone up to around 400 or so under Biden but is well under the 800 pre-pandemic. These so-called 25 actions Biden took is right wing propaganda. The oil and gas industry is also partially responsible for this.

"Normally, the best cure for high prices is high prices, which incentivize more supply. And yet, even though US oil prices have surged by more than 65% this year, US oil production is about 14% below the levels of the end of 2019, before Covid erupted.
"Stop spending like drunk sailors. That's the message from shareholders," said Pavel Molchanov, an analyst at Raymond James.

That message was heard loud and clear. Despite higher prices, 50 of the largest oil companies have increased their annual budgets by just 1% relative to their initial plans, according to Raymond James. Instead of plowing money into expensive drilling projects, the oil-and-gas industry is focused on returning cash to shareholders.
"It's not the government that is banning them from drilling more. It's pressure from their shareholders," said Molchanov."

In other words, investors want fatter dividends As a result, companies are not drilling. As a matter of fact, higher oil prices mean bigger profits for oil companies. They have decided that cutting drilling and allowing oil prices to rise may be the more profitable route. The Biden administration also auctioned off a tract in the Gulf of Mexico larger than Florida. If congressional Republicans got their way, it would drive oil prices higher. Republicans want federal workers to come into their offices to work rather than work remotely. That would drive up demand and increase gas prices. That action would drive up gas prices.

In 2020, inflation was 1.4% however the US GDP dropped 3.4%. Inflation is up but the economy is growing again. The fact is that inflation is way over exaggerated. The fact that it is 7% with a pandemic going on is not bad. If the unvaccinated got vaccinated then we could put this pandemic behind us. However because we still have so many unvaccinated people, the omicron variant is now running wild.

As usual these pieces of dogshit want to blame inflation on helping struggling people with child and childcare expenses yet the rich are getting richer but that is not inflationary? Maybe we should raise taxes on the rich to sop up some of that money.

The bottom line is that Biden has treied to lead by getting people vaccinated. Yet he as been fought every step of the way be Republicans be they governors or crooked judges.

Bbiden has not been a diaster for America. Afghanistan was Trump's surrender. That created the disaster. Biden is standing up to Russia and China. He also hit terrorist targets in the Middle East.

The bottom line is that Biden is not responsible for this. The pandemic is. It is Republicans who have been trying to block everything.

Worst inflation in 40 years!!! Calls everyone racist and does nothing for the little guy. The guy is a crook. No wonder his approval is down to 33%. I wouldn't be shocked to see it drop to the lowest levels since George w Bush! Democrats are going to be destroyed this November.
