This has nothing to do with the conflict. At least I am not going to make a connection.

But poverty in IRAN is worse than I thought.

I knew things were bad, but not this bad.

In late October 2025, the Iranian regime once again sought to present an image of economic “transparency.” Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government’s spokesperson, proudly announced that the official poverty line for 2024–2025 had been set at 6,128,739 tomans per person per month. The regime framed this announcement as proof of economic accountability. Yet behind the sterile numbers lies a grim reality — one of widespread hunger, eroded livelihoods, and a society increasingly crushed under the weight of systemic poverty.

The figure marks a rise of nearly 2.5 million tomans compared to the previous year. But far from signaling improvement, this adjustment merely reflects galloping inflation and the government’s cynical attempt to normalize destitution. Independent economists call it what it is: a deliberate misrepresentation designed to conceal the true extent of hardship endured by millions of Iranian families.

If you read the article, further down you see what appears to be what we would have in the U.S. if Kamala "the worlds best DEI candidate EVER", had won.

Wealth is a strange thing.

But basic necessities are not. And not being able to get them? Well, that is spelled IRAN.

Wow, I've never heard of a toman before your post. That currency is almost valueless and the poverty level listed in your article is ridiculously LOW. A little over six million tomans per person/mo. To put that in a more understandable context, that equals just under $80/US per person per month. Americans can spend that in one visit to McD's.

It's one way to keep a people subjected.

It's incredibly immoral given the natural resources they have.

That's what happens when a foreign power imposes brutal sanctions, currencies eventually collapse, its a form or slow terrorism, why does this surprise you, don't you ever read books?

Sanctions were imposed (at the behest of the Zionist regime) in order to eventually lead to societal collapse and then a puppet regime take over.

As you can now see, it didn't work and the Israelis are pissed big time as are the Zionist shills that are all over the United States.

EXACTLY!!!

Doesn't seem to have prevented them from funding terrorism world wide. Maybe if they took more interest in their populace instead of trying to tear down other countries they would be in better financial shape. You seem to ignore the fact that their problems are self-imposed beginning 47 years ago.

Plenty.

You should try it.

Especially one on logic.

Sanctions are a response.

But apart from your ass-generated response, the article is pretty good about showing why. And while sanctions didn't help, this has been going on for a lot longer.

Fail on your part.

You only call in terrorism when the "enemy" does it.

They are taking care of their populace, they defeated the Usraeli attempt to destroy the country.

You want to discuss that? go right ahead bet lets start here.

Sure, how far do you think that $7 a month will go with a self-imposed poverty rate of less than $80 a month for their citizens. LOL, but they don't have a problem coming up with the money to support their offensive nuclear program. Seems it would be more important to feed the people. Run along Shylock, better yet, why don't you just move there since you hate the US so much. LOL, you left your country to come here, yet all you can do is complain how terrible it is here. Can't you ever be happy? Rhetorical, requires no response.

You lost, get over it.

Centralized and corrupt dictatorships are never beneficial to the average citizen

LOL, says the moron who can't be happy no matter where he goes. How long do you think you'd be alive if you lived there and posted the same venom against Iran? Oh yeah, Iranians don't have access to the internet, so its a moot question. How would your American spouse like having to wear a sack in public?

What would Harris have done to put the US so far into poverty?

Mad tariffs?

Start a couple of wars?

Send the price of fuel shooting upwards faster than any time ever in history?

Seriously, what?

I don't post "venom" I just challenge racism and fascism, if you didn't post it you wouldn't keep getting bitten.

What a joy, I do miss the good old days.
