No that's true. There have been ongoing protests in Raleigh. What happened is the Republican governor ran for re-election, and he lost. Couldn't accept it. Took him a month to finally concede. Then the state leg suddenly ups and goes "we need a special session" wherein they remove all kinds of powers from the Governor's office and who he can appoint, because a Democrat takes over in January.

It's all probably about the harmful affects of porn in which they see as being possibly connected directly to or indirectly connected to many things like sex trafficking, pedophilia, sex addiction's, sex over load, and every other rotten thing that easy access porn has possibly caused upon our society now. How can anyone look at their kids and take a chance of them accessing such stuff ?? My nephew (who is a grown man with his own kids now) told me that when he was young, (and in school) that him and his friends could access porn on the school computers once. They said they had to x out of the page super quick because the teacher was coming towards them, but that the page kept throwing up more pages to where they had to go for the power button to stop the thing. Was kind of funny listening to the story, but. I thought wow your kidding me right (in the school) ? They are probably just trying to stop kids from accessing porn, because the parents aren't getting the job done or they aren't getting any help in getting the job done. Might be based on statistics running high on certain trends or maybe health problems, criminal activities, prostitution rings or many things in which they feel tougher sanctions are needed in order to slow down the problems related possibly to such a thing.

I just don't care for porn of any kind. It is boring, I don't see the turn on. Just me personally. I don't care for the abuses of the industry either.

Hubby had a spinal injury and for a time thought porn would help. It was not mental, it was physical and pain meds. I loved him no matter. He was my only turn on.

I don't care for it, but I don't approve of a state forcing computers to ban it. They would be hurting their own state's sales of computers or any device that can access the internet and porn sites be it a computer, tablet or phone.

People will buy out of state and local sales will be hurt. If they go after the internet providers next, I also object. States should not over regulate private lives or individual behavior.
