Pope Francis' Says He's Not A Liberal...That His Words Are Church Doctrine

RUSH: During the second term of George W. Bush, Pope Benedict showed up, and it was his birthday...This ceremony was about God, Christ, country. I mean, it was exactly what the country needed at the time. It wasn't about a single political issue. I was riveted. I couldn't take my eyes off of it, which is why I did everything I could -- I just wanted to tell President Bush that on the phone, and they found him running around on his way somewhere between meetings.

And this today was markedly different. I'm not rendering a judgment on it whatsoever. Do not anybody put words in my mouth that I'm not saying.

FRANCIS: Mr. President, I am deeply grateful for your welcome in the name of all Americans. As the son of an immigrant family, I am a happy to be a guest in this country, which was largely built by such families. (Applause)

RUSH: Well. Well, well, well, well. So the pope says go ahead and count me in here on your immigration battle. I am related to immigrants, and immigrants built your country, and I'm a guest in your county, so count me in.

LISANTE: Someone said to me once, they were quoting Rush Limbaugh, "Do you think he's a Marxist?" And I said I'm sure he's not a Marxist. He might have certain socialist tendencies. What he really is, which is far more frightening, is a true Christian. Remember the bracelets they used to wear years ago "What would Jesus do?" And Jesus would hang with the poor and the handicapped, the disabled. He'd say "Welcome" to strangers. He'd go to visit people in prisons. He would do all the loving, caring and compassionate things. He'd say to a person involved with abortion, "I'm sorry you went through that, but come home and know that you're welcome here." This is the work of Jesus Christ, and he does it well.

RUSH: Okay, so the way this is explained, therefore, is to say that any religious leader who is saying things like Pope Francis is saying is simply repeating the words of Christ. And so it has manifested itself now that it is the popular opinion among people that are really not informed is that Christ was a modern-day liberal Democrat. You know, I still find this incredible.

President Bush said that the visit was a reminder for Americans to "distinguish between simple right and wrong".

"We need your message to reject this dictatorship of relativism and embrace a culture of justice and truth," Mr Bush added.

"In a world where some see freedom as simply the right to do as they wish, we need your message that true liberty requires us to live our freedom not just for ourselves, but in a spirit of mutual support."

But while acting the proud father, Bush also seemed to suggest that America could use a little tough talking-to by the pontiff.

"In a world where some treat life as something to be debased and discarded, we need your message that all human life is sacred and that each of us is willed, each of us is loved, and each of us is necessary," the president said, drawing sustained applause.

These two leaders share much common ground, particularly in opposing abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research. But there are plenty of differences.

They disagree over the war in Iraq, the death penalty and the U.S. trade embargo against Cuba. Benedict also speaks for environmental protection and social welfare in ways that often run counter to Bush policies.

And the pontiff told reporters on his plane that he planned to bring up immigration policy with Bush during their private Oval Office meeting. Benedict has talked forcefully in the past about the damage caused by punitive immigration laws.

A joint U.S.-Holy See statement issued afterward suggested that Benedict followed through. It said the leaders discussed "the need for a coordinated policy regarding immigration, especially their humane treatment and the well being of their families."
There is a difference between not being a liberal and being a false caricature of conservatism.

And where does he speak of being or not being a Liberal?

Where?

He's a communist and you know it.
Stop acting like a fucking idiot. What the fuck are the Googly image memes I responded to representing? ITALIAN ACCENTS. Now how the FUCK do you acquire and Italian accent when your first language is Spanish??

Stop acting like a fucking idiot.

He speaks fluent Italian and he is an Italian and he was born in Argentina. You've been had by an Italian Jesuit. Plenty of people have been. Get over it. This Jesuit Pope is an Italian. Who cares what his accent is? You're lost in translation here........ talk to Flanders. He is good at breaking things down and explaining things.

Zander is an "Italian Jesuit"?

You are Fucking Illiterate.

The Pope is an Italian Jesuit and I am not illiterate. Your personal attacks reveal that perhaps the humiliation of it all is too much for you, Pogo. Here is some advice for you. Next time? Do not call someone stupid before having all the facts which make you appear to be the "stupid one". Seriously, wise up.

The Pope is an Italian and yet you accused someone here of being stupid because you didn't know he was Italian and they did. What does that say about you when you cannot even admit the truth? After the facts and evidence have been politely presented to you?

Why damage your own reputation by acting like a child. Own your mistake and move on. It isn't the end of the world to be proven wrong.

Go fuck yourself. I have no tolerance for deliberate dumbfuckity. Have some fucking self-respect and quit posting like a fucking moron.

I posted the truth. Obviously you have a serious aversion to it.

You posted complete moronic fucking bullshit and you're going on Ignore as I've had it with your childish act-stupid games. Off you go.

During the flight, Francis defended himself against conservative criticism that his condemnation of trickle-down economics makes him a communist.

RUSH: So along comes this pope now and his got apologists, but the people translating for him or explaining, interpreting, "Oh, no, no, no, this ideological, pope is not liberal, no, no, no, no, no. Don't be so silly. Don't be so foolish. Don't be so small-minded. He's simply a Catholic, simply Christian, this is what Christians and Catholics do." And then, "It's what Jesus did, simply what Jesus did." So my question is this. I need some legitimate help on this. I know that Jesus preached charity. Did Jesus tell people to give their money to the Romans so that the Romans could then distribute it?

In other words, did Jesus tell people to give their money to whatever governing entity there was, or entities there were at the time, or did he preach charity as an individual thing? In other words, was Jesus a big-government charitable advocate? It seems to me that it might have been the opposite, that Jesus had some problems with governments.

What does the Bible say about paying taxes?

Question: "What does the Bible say about paying taxes?"

Answer: In Matthew 22:17-21, the Pharisees asked Jesus a question: "Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?" But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought Him a denarius, and He asked them, "Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?" "Caesar's," they replied. Then He said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." In full agreement, the Apostle Paul taught, "This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor" (Romans 13:6-7).

I'm sorry, but your image of conservatives doesn't match reality.....so basically, this is an exercise in futility.

The conservatives you're thinking about are Muslims.

Okay, I'm the first to admit that I'm not up to speed on all the religious stuff, so help me out here. As I understand it, the Bible is pretty big on humility, selflessness and helping others.

If we were to magically remove partisan politics from the conversation (I know, I know, but let's pretend for just a moment), tell me:

Precisely what is this guy saying that goes against the Bible?
.

Where to begin? He's been reported and quoted saying hell is not a literal place. Jesus Christ preached numerous times warning of a literal hell. Jorge aka Frances has told people that atheists can go to heaven by their good works. Another lie. The Word of God, King James Bible states that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through the Son. Jesus Christ is the Only way to Salvation.

This Pope worships Lucifer in his Latin Masses - I have posted more than one video about it and the words are right there translated into English, he is lifting up Lucifer. Not Jesus Christ.

Jorge aka Frances is leading the interfaith - one world religion that denies Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the only way to salvation. He is an enemy of all fundamentalist Christians, born again Christians who hold fast to the Word of God and resist the false church in Rome (Catholicism) and has made troubling statements about us.

He is also on record stating anyone who denies that Mary is the Mother of the church - cannot go to heaven - this is Catholic teaching - Catholic Doctrine - not church doctrine according to the King James Bible.

Jesus never told anyone to pray to His mother or to pray to dead people to enter heaven. There is no salvation through Mary. None.

Jesus never told anyone there was salvation through the Roman Catholic anti-Christ church. Jorge aka Francis has also taught the world that the Bible is a lie and that evolution is how the world began. He is a liar. Jesuit Jorge also presents himself as the head of the Christian church, another lie because Catholicism has nothing to do with the Christian Church - there is no salvation in the Roman Catholic Church. It's a false church.

Jesus warned of false teachers. Jorge aka Francis is a false teacher. The Apostles warned of deceitful workers who would come as an angel of light to deceive the Believers - false teachers who would forbid you to marry - which is precisely what the Catholic church does in order to hold the control over the laity (they are the Nicolaitans which Jesus made clear he hated their deeds - see Rev. ) they forbid the eating of meat - once again can anyone here say Good Friday? Remember those days? I do as I used to be a Catholic before I became a Christian and they forbid you to eat meat on Friday.

The Bible clearly exposes Catholicism as a false church and warns to depart from such and have nothing to do with it.

This man, Jorge aka Francis has been identified by two women in Argentina already who say he raped them when they were small children. There are other charges against him involving the trafficking of children and sex crimes against children and there was a warrant for his arrest yet the Vatican prevented it.

His Nuncio was outed as a child rapist / paedophile in another country by his victims and his assistant who procured the children and before he could be put on trial Jorge aka Francis had him whisked away to Rome to protect him claiming he was under house arrest. The Nuncio's own assistant confessed to procuring children for him to molest!! He wrote a letter of confession to the police about it! What more is there to see before admitting he is guilty?!

Months later his paedophile Nuncio was seen walking the streets of Rome unsupervised. One paedophile protecting another. It's the history of Catholicism and the Popes have always gotten away with these crimes against children. The man should be behind bars! Not riding in his bat mobile down the middle of NYC streets having a parade in his honor! He's a criminal! Not a saint! Wake up, People!!!
