If allowing evil to reign in Syria brings "peace" (no one fighting the spread of evil) then is he (they) advocating evil over fighting evil?

Citizens of Syria are fleeing the evil there. Should we relocate all the good Syrian natives and leave the country to evil-doers? Is that what peace-keeping is all about in our day?

We've now been confirmed Orthodox Christian. The Eastern Orthodox Church, officially it's called The Orthodox Catholic Church, it split from the Latin Church in 1054 in what's referred to as the East-West Schism or just The Great Schism of 1054.
