The Brits don't want the Oranguton anywhere near the Royals. Obama did diss Maggie Thatcher, although the Queen and Thatcher disagreed deeply over "embracing" non-whites. Still, mixing politics and weddings is tawdry. Personally, I think the Obamas should just send a nice gift. And invite for a cup of coffee at some later time. This is more for "fun," but the dilemma faced by Prince harry and his soon-to-be bride could have some political repercussions.
There is NO doubt that the U.K (like most other countries except Russia) the orange charlatan is either disliked or ridiculed.....whereas, former president Obama is both respected and sought-after.
Now, Harry wants to very much invite the Obamas to his wedding.....and since this is NOT a state affair but a private one, no one in Parliament can compel the Royal house to uphold political niceties.
However, it is "feared" by the British Parliament that NOT inviting the Trumps (which rumors have it that Harry hates the couple) while inviting the Obamas, will precipitate a tonnage of Trump tweets bitching and moaning that the Brits don't like his corpulent ass to be on British soil.....
This will place Theresa May in an awkward position, since ......given the orange thin skinof Trump......he may cancel any visit to England.....
Trump should send his wife...however her elegance could upstage the bride. This is more for "fun," but the dilemma faced by Prince harry and his soon-to-be bride could have some political repercussions.

I have one. And, it's from the Guardian. A respected paper in Britain.
Half of the British public think Trump is ‘dangerous’ | Andrew Drummond
If Donald Trump is not a popular man in his own country, his public image in Britain is even worse. When our poll asked voters which words they most associated with Donald Trump, the most popular were “dangerous” (50%), “unstable” (39%) and “bigot” (35%). More than half of British adults polled (54%) expect Trump to be a below average (10%) or awful (44%) president. Sixty-four per cent believe that Trump is a threat to international stability and 56% say he isn’t trustworthy.
Even Ukip voters, who are generally the most positive towards the new president, are more lukewarm than enthusiastic. Although 53% of Ukip voters expect Trump to be an above average or great president, the most commonly selected word associated with him is still “dangerous” (26%), followed by “intelligent” (24%).
