I'm in the "maybe" camp. I wouldn't be surprised by the results either way. I am encouraged that independent experts believe fraud had occurred. If they were worth the effort, Jill Stein would become my hero. If they turn up with no significant change, it will be an embarrassment for both her and Hillary because Hillary has just announced she supports the recount. I suppose she doesn't have anything to lose.

Maybe the results are transferred over the INTERNET and they are thinking somewhere in between the polling place and courthouse. I don't see how there could be a descrepancy in PA. But there were reports of switching between Trump to Hillary and they were confirmed. They said it was a calibration error. I say it was BS.

The ballots are scanned and tallied, so I guess computers are involved, but it should be a closed system.

If all of PA is like where I voted then it is a close system. I see no way they could be hacked unless the machines were hacked by the software company.

each individual machine is running software independently, I dont know the machines so I cant say for sure but, if they have an input port somewhere, it is possible to change the programming or hack it. All a programmer needs to hack a program like that is anywhere that the program itself is looking for input, like maybe a simple response to a question? as long as you have that and a basic knowledge of the original programming, it is not as hard as you might think. Now if I designed the systems I would not have any input ports on the machine, the drives would be loaded with the software then installed into the machine pre loaded to greatly reduce the possibility of the software being corrupted by an outside source.

The 'machines' all have a single 'input port' BUT the port is NOT accessible without unlocking a cover on the 'machine'. The cover is sealed and 100% tamper-proof.
ONLY the country official has access to the key which is located in a 24/7 guarded vault in an undisclosed location only to be used AFTER the polling stations are ALL closed in each county.
No chance to 'Al Franken' the results by finding hundreds of ballots in a Franken operative's car trunk.

Wisconsin is going to start an audit of the state vote toward the latter part of next week. They've already agreed to do it.

We had the FBI director, James Comey intervene into this election 11 days prior, and then gave birth to a nothing burger 7 days later. We have Huma, Clinton's aid still saying she has no idea how her emails ended up on her x-husband's laptop.

Americans need to be assured of the integrity of a National Election, and if this does anything, it will restore confidence in our elections. Because right now there are just way too many unanswered questions.

This isn't a recount, a recount would only produce the same result. This is an audit of the votes cast, specifically out of electronic machines, specifically in Democrat counties, where the paper ballots were coming in strong for Hillary Clinton but the electronic machines in the same county or precincts were showing a 7% loss. That's what got everyone's attention, specifically the cyber experts.

It's not that, but you have millions of Americans out there, that watched Wiki-Leaks hack into supposedly secure government DNC databases to leak emails. You have 17 intelligence agencies saying many of these email leaks were coming from Russia. They never attacked the RNC. Millions of Americans watched FBI director, James Comey break long standing DOJ protocol, (after being warned not to send a letter to congress) and do it anyway, and after millions of people voted during those 7 days, believing that charges were imminent against Hillary Clinton. I don't even see the point. Hillary didn't get her voters out, so she lost the election on fewer votes than people needed to fill Penn State and U of Wisc football stadiums.

The theory by the lib Professor in Michigan is that since the ballots are produced on the internet by the counties, Russia may have slipped in some malware into those ballots. When those ballots were installed into the machines, that's how they could have been hacked.

However I don't know where he got the idea that these computers that produced the ballots had no virus or malware protection (or warning) on it. I guess he just assumed they didn't.

His theory was that malware can be undetected until the time it activates, and then self-destruct leaving no evidence of it behind. So it could have activated during voting times, and then deleted itself after the polling places closed or before.

So what he did was create the most ideal situation for this to happen. But as we know, the reality is voting machines are not put into that ideal situation nor are the county computers that make up those ballots.
