Poll: U.S.A. Poses Greatest Threat To Peace...

That goes for Democrat voters too. In the end, they play on the same team. Most of em are Big Government Interventionist Communists/Progressives.

That goes for Republican and Neo Conservatives too. In the end they play on the same team. Most of them are Authoritarian Government Imperialists, Fascists and Reactionaries.

See how easy that is.

I can live with that assessment. Both Parties are controlled by Big Government Authoritarian Interventionists. The Communists/Progressives seized control of both parties many years ago.

I think the lesson the world learned post-9/11 is, "Don't fuck with the United States".

The lesson learned post-9/11 should have been, don't give up your Freedom & Liberty for the sake of 'Security.' The Terrorists have won to a certain extent. Post-9/11 has been a sad nightmare for American Citizens. How much of their rights have they allowed their Government to seize since 9/11? The Terrorists didn't give us the Patriot Act and NDAA. Our Government gave us those awful decrees.

The lesson learned after 9/11 should have been half of the middle east flattened..................

Over in a year, with RSVP to anyone else who wanted some of it..................

Then they can give us the threat award and we can put it in a trophy case.:eusa_shhh:

Obamas lack of backbone and his fickleness on the international scene encourage people to kick the bully when he is down. He has singlehandedly caused the greatest loss of international respect for America of any president in history. No respect, no fear, no need to hold their tongues. The Snowden revelations and the range of illegal or at least ill advised wiretaps on so many world leaders only invites world disdain. Ain't hard to invent hundreds of conspiracy theories when the us can't keep its intelligence in its pants.

The US lost all respect, and our enemies lost all fear, once they saw how mismanaged the Iraq War was.

You have identified the symptoms, but the diagnosis is way off. You have to go back further in time, by a few years, and blame a different President. Bush lost our respect, and our enemies have little fear of us, starting at 2005 and onward, once it was clear that the Iraq War was an ill-planned and managed war and occupation.

The GOP did lose Congress during the failed Iraq War, and the GOP hasn't won the White House back since Bush left, in disgrace. They deserved those losses.

Nice try, but this world wide attitude towards the USA started with Kennedy and Johnson's viet nam fiasco. Speaking of mismanaged wars--------------58,000 dead americans and billions of dollars for absolutely NOTHING.

Iraq was also a failure, but remember, both parties authorized and funded it. Bush did not, and could not, do it on his own.

What did our kids die for in Iraq? again, NOTHING. When we leave it will still be a morass of tribal warfare and islamic radicalism.

Will we never learn that we cannot police the world and convert it to our system of values?

right, instead Obama wants to let them build a trophy mosque at 9/11 ground zero. Does anyone still wonder whose side this guy is on?

Communists?

The MASTERS aren't remotely communist.

You get hung up on a label, and it misleads you.

Forget about the label, just look at what they DO.

They're an ongoing criminal conspiracy, lad.

They're no more motivated by communist thinking than you are.

I think the lesson the world learned post-9/11 is, "Don't fuck with the United States".

Iraq didn't fuck with the United States, and got attacked anyway. They reacted as they should have, as any people should have, when unjustly attacked and occupied. They fought back, and fought back effectively, bringing the GOP to its knees in 2006 and 2008. The American voter had had enough of the macho-faux, chestbeating silliness of the chickenhawk-filled GOP war monkey party.

Now, America has little taste for unjust wars.

Thank you, Iraq rebels, for teaching war monger Americans a lesson. Liberals already knew the lesson, and were 100% vindicated by your violent insurgency, but many other Americans did not. You brought them around.

Iraq was also a failure, but remember, both parties authorized and funded it. Bush did not, and could not, do it on his own.

Nice try. The support was from only some of the Democrats. Not all of them. And the GOP demonized all Democrats as soft on terror anyway in 2004 elections, and therefore took full ownership of the Iraq War mistake thereafter.

And the voters did the right thing and gave the GOP the beatdown they deserved for their hamhanded mismanagement of the Iraq War mistake.

That is the internal lesson learned, though many have yet to learn it.

I would say most have yet to learn it. Terrorists didn't impose the Patriot Act and NDAA on us. Terrorists aren't doing all the spying on American Citizens. But Americans are slowly beginning to get the fact they should fear their own Government just as much, if not more than the Terrorists. It's a very slow process, but they're beginning to come around to reality.

And The Country Posing The Greatest Threat to Peace as 2013 Ends is …

The past year witnessed bloodshed in Syria and Iraq, turmoil in Egypt, anarchy in Central Africa, threats by a nuclear-armed North Korea and Chinese military posturing, but as 2013 ends a global poll finds that the country seen as representing the greatest threat to peace today is ... the United States.

Not only did the U.S. top the list with an aggregate of 24 percent, but the runner-up threat country, Pakistan, was way behind at eight percent. China was third at six percent, followed by North Korea, Iran and Israel at five percent each.

The survey of opinions across 65 countries by pollster Win/Gallup International recorded some of the strongest anti-American sentiment, predictably, in countries widely regarded as rivals, led by Russia (where 54 percent of respondents said the U.S. was the greatest threat to peace) and China (49 percent).

But the view that the U.S. poses the greatest threat to peace was also strongly held in some purported U.S. allies – such as NATO partners Greece and Turkey (45 percent each), and Pakistan (44 percent), which is also a top recipient of U.S. aid.

Two other countries where strongly negative opinion of the U.S. was found were Bosnia, a candidate for European Union membership (49 percent), and, closer to home, Argentina (46 percent).

Elsewhere in Latin America the U.S. topped the list of threats to peace for a significant number of respondents in Mexico (37 percent), Brazil (26 percent) and Peru (24 percent)...

DRUDGE REPORT 2014®

Whoever is the most powerful country in the world will always be a contender for the "greatest threat to peace" in world opinion. I hope we top this list for years to come. Of course, what does this say bout Obama's Nobel Peace Prize?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnLqoRtUAVg]I GOTS'A PEACE PRIZE! (Official Song) - YouTube[/ame]

The decision to award Mr Obama the Nobel Peace prize was not taken by the citizens of the world, or even the citizens of Norway, but by a small left dominated committee of has-been Norwegian politicians. They thought that he was a lefty just like them. And who is to say that thy were mistaken?

Btw I see that Argentina comes out as particularly anti-American. TIME should take back that Popish man of the year award.

There's that tough guy talk that gets us in trouble "Don't F.... with us" If America had been minding it's own business all the years since the end of WW2 we wouldn't have had a 9-11.

9/11 was a radical islamic jihad, we did not cause it. Radical imams caused it by preaching hate of everything not islamic.

We did not cause it BUT we make ourselves the target because our wealth, power and influence. Does that make our actions wrong? No it does not even though many are wrong but for other reasons. It is true though and ignoring such basic facts is damaging our fight against the terrorists.

Simply put, or success has made us enemies.

Yet the same poll indicates that the United States is the most popular / desired country for overall surveyed people to travel to. Somewhat ironic...
