Certainly, I can accept that statement. How much of an impact is the question. again, 7% isn't a doubling price amount. That's flipping ridiculous to say.

In order for us to use only our fuel, that would mean we'd have to leave the market which would be a stupid thing. The market was created to stabilize prices. That's not the definition of energy independent. Energy independent means if we ship out 6 million barrels a day and import 6 million barrels a day, we are energy independent. Energy independent doesn't mean we only use our own fuel and gasoline. The only way to do that is if we left the market, again, the stupidest thing we could ever do. Because we are in the market, that's how we got gasoline at around $2.00 a gallon during covid under Trump.

I don't know what Dementia did to piss off Saudi Arabia, but whatever it was, they want to manipulate our elections by increasing prices, so they cut their production by 2 million barrels a day. To counter that, Dementia wants to drain even more of our strategic supplies which are dangerously low as it is. The strategic reserve is for emergency usage, not political usage. He's going to do it anyway to reduce the damage to his party. If we end up paying $5.00 a gallon or so on election day, the Democrat party is totally Fd, not that people are happy with them under the current prices.
