Poll: Democrats Now Trusted More Than Republicans on Economy

This was expected but came sooner than later.

Trump is upsetting the voters with increasing the cost of living. "For the first time in several years, Americans now place greater trust in the Democratic Party over Republicans when it comes to managing the economy, according to new polling data."

A recent Morning Consult survey finds that 46% of respondents believe Democrats are doing a better job on the economy, while 43% side with Republicans. Eleven percent reported no opinion. This marks the first such shift in favor of Democrats since May 2021, per the polling firm.

It is only going to be a short period of time before the Dems will be way over 50%.

Interesting since Biden's inflation rate was a total of around 20% in his four years for an average of 5% per year and Trump's has only averaged out to less than a 3% annual rate so far, which would be a four year total of 12%.

Online polls are a joke……like you, Simp.

Every day, FuckBoi posts this kind of garbage. He contributes nothing but denial and middle school insults to discussions. And his idiot cohort reward him with positive emojies with every post. This is the result of the American education system. The perfect Republican.

The thread is about economics, which is a topic FuckBoi lacks the intellectual chops to discuss. He denies that Republicans crash the economy, and that Democrats repair that damage when they get into office.

Throughout every Democratic Administration, FOX News declares the economy in crisis. Usually it is in crisis because of the damage done by the outgoing administration. Both W and Trump left the American economy in flaming ruins.
You think Republicans are to blame for the state of the US public education system? Really? I hate to break this to you, Dragonlady but liberals have been dominating our school systems for decades now. The reason we had young people buying into the progressive agenda was they'd been indoctrinated to do so from K through college. Now that pendulum is starting to swing in the opposite direction because young people have seen first hand how progressives can't govern and every place that they control is turning into a total shit hole.

Yes. School choice is the killer.

Liberals have not been dominating school systems for decades now. The school systems are run by the states, in accordance with States' Education Departments. The States establish the school boards, and set the cirriculum for that state. It is the states, which are purchasing the textbooks, and setting the testing requirements.

Local school boards, manage the budgets, and the hiring practices, but the states, the majority of which are controlled by Republicans, have set the cirriculum and purchase the textbooks. They also control the "choice" options for funding.

The American movement AWAY from public education and into this increasingly parent funded politicized hybrid, is literally destroying the value of primary and secondary school education at all.

Parents should NOT be deciding what their children should be taught because they're not qualified. Education should provide you with the skills to be gainfully employed in a 21st Century economy, and that includes a fact based history of the country.

Those who do not learn from their mistakes, are condemned to repeat them. This is why you have racial upheaval in the USA every 40 years or so. No generation can learn from the mistakes of the past because they've never told about them.

During the 2016 presidential election, Morning Consult called the winner of the election incorrectly and predicted Hillary Clinton winning the national popular vote by 3 percent (she won by 2.1 percent). In the 2018 and 2022 US midterm elections, Morning Consult performed well below average, with larger errors than most other pollsters.

They also had Kommiela winning with their last poll in 2024.

But the idiot OP thinks they are a good source.:auiqs.jpg:

Biden was under 3% the last year after he straightened out Trump's blunders, yes.

Polls are fked. The only poll that counts is November 5th. What was that result?

What was the inflation rate when Biden took office, John? What did it go to during Biden's term? Biden's 20% rate of inflation was on HIM and HIS policies...claiming he was good because inflation only went up by 3% his last year is laughable after it had already cost American's huge amounts of money.
