During the most recent GOP primary debate, Carson responded to an inquiry about his involvement with Mannatech -- a shady purveyor of quack nutritional supplements -- by saying, "I didn't have any involvement ... that's total propaganda." Subsequent reporting revealed that Carson was actually a heavily involved endorser of Mannatech's wares, appearing in several promotional videos.

What I see being demolished is the myth of a straight shooting Non Political man who "tells it like it is"...that is what is Damaging...

He never lied…..the journalist character assassins of the democrat party at politico have lied…..really, really lied deeply about Carson….he never claimed to have gone to or been accepted by West Point….he wrote about it in his book…it is all right there…politico is lying…..

And after all this, it turns out that it's the original report in Politico that lied, not Dr. Carson.

Carson never said he applied to West Point. Only that he talked to Gen. Westmoreland, and Westmoreland said that, since Carson was the top ROTC student in Detroit, he could probably get him an appointment. And Westmoreland pointed out that no one pays to go to West Point, all the students there go "free". And they sign a commitment to serve in the military for a minimum period after they graduate.

Carson was completely truthful and factual.

The only people who lied, were the Politico reporters.

Plus the hundreds of desperate liberals who, unable to reply to Dr. Carson, are spreading the lie as fast as they can in an effort to destroy him instead.

I'm not sure of the date of this ad but it certainly says West Point offers "scholarships" Ben Carson may actually be vindicated over this latest flub but there are so many others that need answering first.
