That's just it, they were removed instead of edited. Erasing completely is what is being attempted, but they have a huge problem today, because what is being put out today is far worse than a little tidbit comedy line that for the most part went unnoticed by all back then.

That's the problem--the supposed racial slurs weren't one liners or verbal at all--they were sight gags. Like Farina being so scared that his corn rows stood up. I don't know how many times I've said that I was so scared that my hair stood on end. There is nothing racial about that. Another was when Buckwheat was so surprised that his eyes were WIDE OPEN show the white all around. Simple sight gags. It is a shame because all of those kids were really entertaining and it was GOOD CLEAN FUN.
