Rand Paul is likely the only Senator in D.C. with any integrity. If he opposed the act is was likely due to some addition to the bill that he opposed and not the idea of showing identification prior to voting.

But my actual point is that both sides of the Swamp aisle will come to each others' aid at critical junctures.

I believe in voter I.D. but could there be other additions to the bill that are objectionable? That's a worthwhile question.
