Policing for profit. How cops become the enemy of other cops.

Most City police departments spend most of their time writing tickets for traffic violations. This is done because the fines fund the department. The cop writing you a ticket is literally taking care of his salary and costs.

Now. The question of who gets the money comes to jurisdiction. Tickets written in the city limits are of course city fines and the city police department gets the money. Violations outside of the city limits would go to the County Sheriff.

See the problem? It led to a confrontation between two cops from different agencies.

This is not the first time such competition has started. Competition for dollars by cops.

A decade ago police in Tennessee were exposed doing much the same thing. Only they were using Civil Asset Forfeiture to find their departments. So the competition to get the money was high.



This has been the police force in our nation for a long time.

The reputation of many police in the West has been in steep decline, their unions unable to convince their populations that they are "great men of high character and integrity".

I can only speak of Canadian police in Toronto and more broadly the Police State in Ontario of course. In Canada the cults work aggressively to try and control/manipulate our poliiticians while remaining excessively paid and unaccountable to the population, destroying our system.

The end result has been a weary population of citizens in which our best talent leave for good.

Sentence them to Church school for three years. Then make them take a Bible test. Western laws were supported by Biblical beliefs to not kill, not steal, not lie in court, and to respect other people, in particular, older adults. If they can't pass the test, they're not fit to do public service of any kind. They'll pass the test and be better coppers.
