Police State: Dad Calls Cops To Teach Son A Lesson, Cops Kill The Kid...

They were called off the pursuit. But their roided-up bloodthirst got the best of em. Had to kill something to quench that thirst.

Prove it?

It was reported in the article. They were called off the pursuit. But even if proven true, you would continue to defend and lick those Jackboots. Who you kiddin?

Hypocritical standards, as usual.

You defended George Zimmerman for ignoring the dispatcher who told him to stop stalking Trayvon.

Also, just because your hero, Rand Paul is getting away with plagiarizing, doesn't give you a pass. In fact, you did not write even one word of the OP.

Be that as it may, the kid threatened the cops with his vehicle.

This is a terrible tragedy but the fault lies with the father for making a phony police report and the kid for threatening the cops.

I would like to know what the nutters think the cops should have done. The cops had no way of knowing that the truck was not stolen. Looking at the video, it looked almost like suicide by cop.

Perhaps you could quote it verbatim since I can't seem to find such a quote.

How do you know they weren't called back into action when the driver proceeded to speed and jump curves putting innocent lives in danger?

Like i said, who you kiddin? Even if proven true, you would still get on your knees to lick those Jackboots. That's just you.

Try backing up your claim sissy boy.

No. Watch the video. The kid was out of control.

I would have done the same thing the father did, and the same thing the police did. It was unfortunate this boy had an anger management problem. He was out of control.

I didn't defend Zimmerman. Only him and Trayvon Martin knew what happened. And one of them is worm food now, so it's neither here nor there at this point. And only a spittle-spraying nutter like you would interject Rand Paul into the discussion.

It was reported these officers were called off the pursuit. They should have done that. A truly senseless murder.

You have no evidence that Zimmerman ignored the dispatcher.

What does rand Paul have to do with this discussion?

After 19-year-old Tyler Comstock quarreled with his father and drove off in his truck, the elder Compton decided to teach him a lesson by reporting the truck to the police as stolen.

Soon after, cops chased down Tyler and shot him to death — despite receiving orders from dispatch to cease their pursuit.

Now the Comstock family is furious — and demanding answers.

“Why? Why did they kill him?” asked Shari Comstock, Tyler’s mother, in a statement to The Des Moines Register.

On Monday, an argument broke out between Tyler and his father, James Comstock, who refused to buy his son a pack of cigarettes. Tyler stormed off and left in his fatherÂ’s truck, which is owned by a lawn care company.

James decided to teach his son a lesson by alerting police to the stolen vehicle. Cops pursued Tyler to the nearby Iowa State University campus in Ames, Iowa.

A recently released audio file revealed that dispatchers twice instructed police to stop following Comstock. The officers did not obey.

The truck eventually came to a stop in the middle of campus property, at which point police ordered Comstock to turn off the engine. Instead, the 19-year-old revved it, prompting Ames Police Officer Adam McPherson to fire six shots into the truck. Two of them hit Comstock, killing him at the scene.

“It was over a damn pack of cigarettes,” said James Comstock. “I wouldn’t buy him none. And I lose my son for that.”

That's what happens when you don't listen to the man with the gun.

He was told to turn off the engine, he should have complied.

Nothing will happen to the cop, he was doing his job and doing it well.

You missed your calling. Born too late i guess. You would have been a terrific Nazi Gestapo-Bot.

You have to admit defying the Nazis meant ending up dead too. Defying Nazi orders didn't advance the cause of freedom one bit.

The father broke the law when he made the phony accusation. He set the kid up for this.

And now he has to live with that.

There is a wealth of evidence that showed, concusively, that the dispatcher never told Zimmerman any such thing. This is revisionist history at its finest.

Police getting away with murder. Gee, how shocking. They were instructed to stop the pursuit. Shame on them.

And the kid set himself up by throwing a tantrum over his desire for a pack of cigarettes and taking the car.

Didn't warrant a death sentence. The Gestapo morons should have listened when they were instructed to end the pursuit. Their roided-up bloodthirst caused this totally unnecessary murder.

Did you even watch the video?

Do you even care that the police were cleared and the shooting was justified?

Ooh, the Police were cleared. I guess that makes everything ok. :cuckoo:

Yes it does. Unless you're a paranoid freak.

It's hard to tell from the dash cam, but it looked to me like the kid didn't just rev the engine, he actually rammed one of the police cars again before being fired upon.

It may have been an unfortunate series of events that brought things to that point, but from the video, I certainly understand why the officer opened fire. If someone has been driving recklessly, has already rammed at least one of your vehicles, and attempts to do so again, of course you fire on them.

Paulitician, are you sure you aren't mistaking backing off and breaking pursuit? The impression I got from the small clips at the end of the video is that the officers were instructed to back off but not necessarily to completely abandon pursuit.

Too bad there was the tape that clearly proved you're wrong.

Jeeeez.

I agree completely.

But that's not why the cops shot him.

The video looked like he rammed at least two cop cars.

This is a sad tragedy but the article said the kid was troubled and that some sort of church or religion was involved. Dad did a really stupid thing when he told the cops his son is a criminal. He is directly responsible for setting up the cops and setting up the kid.
