Pluto and Surface Air Pressure

LOL!!!

What is H2O

How does Antarctica grow ice?

Snow - not much at all

FROST = H2O in AIR becomes frozen and stuck on glacier

How much H2O has frozen out of the atmosphere in your chart?
Has no one else noticed humidity levels falling on Earth?

Link?

The question is what happens when the entire atmosphere warms or cools,

Well, surface air pressure is falling, and science says warm air rises, so that's what happens.

Keep repeating that...

During Jurassic, Surface Air Pressure was more than double today, no doubt you will attribute that to an "ice age..."

LOL!!!

You asked a question, and you do not like the answer. Tough. H2O goes from gas to ice on Antarctica.

One of the things about burning hydrocarbons is that H2O is a byproduct. Burning hydrocarbons should be increasing sea levels...

LOL!!

But that's not happening either.

How much H2O has been added to Earth by burning hydrocarbons, starting with the Roman Empire...

Atmospheric pressure is a function of air density.

So if gas molecules are added to an atmosphere, surface air pressure does what, all else equal?

Is this like your belief that hurricanes measure the ocean's temperature?

Hurricanes are much better proxy of ocean temps than oxygen isotopes are of temperature.

Hurricanes are directly correlated with ocean temps.

Oxygen isotopes are affected by many things, including volcano eruptions.

If can can post some evidence that during the Jurassic, a warming period resulted in higher surface air pressure and that during the Jurassic, a cooling period resulted in lower surface air pressure, you might help your current stupid claim.

Can you post some of that evidence?

H2O goes from gas to ice on Antarctica.

And then more evaporates.

Is that why you feel the pressure is dropping?

Evaporation doesn't happen anymore?

Because Pluto's "atmosphere" is mostly a frozen solid.

Now it is, but when its elliptical orbit pushes it close to Neptune's orbit, most of the Nitrogen on its polar caps now will be gas.

But there is NO DENYING THE FACTS.

Pluto COOLED and its SURFACE AIR PRESSURE DECREASED - an ACTUAL DATA POINT your side doesn't even have...

It is possible even likely that during the Antarctic summer, when the ice that determines year by year records of the ice core is formed by a small layer of "melt" at the top, that some of that brief melt comes off as evaporation.

And when the nitrogen gas warms, the surface air pressure drops.

The facts of Jurassic one more time...

WARMER
WETTER
HIGHER SURFACE AIR PRESSURE, way higher, 3-5 times today, not 0.4% change...300-500% change

Once again we have a DATA CORRELATION between WARMER and HIGHER SURFACE AIR PRESSURE although that one is way disproportionately about Earth losing 99% of its current ice and releasing the gas trapped in it.

What do snow and ice in the Antarctic have to do with average water vapor for the entire planet?

Did you forget to take your meds today?

And when the nitrogen gas warms, the surface air pressure drops.

How can it DROP BELOW ZERO??

Pluto's atmosphere is zero now. When the nitrogen melts/boils and becomes gas again, surface air pressure on Pluto will go from ZERO to SOMETHING, and that is UP....

warming = increased planetary surface air pressure...

What do snow and ice in the Antarctic have to do with average water vapor for the entire planet?

The 8 million cubic miles of ice on land mass Antarctica dramatically reduces "water vapor" on a planetary basis by making Earth atmosphere and oceans colder.

Jurassic = way less than 1 mil cubic miles of ice = warmer WETTER higher SAP
