However, the reasons and ways in which we fight have changed. It used to be that we really fought for things like territory or religion or justice or economic freedom , or combinations of the above. Nearly all our wars are manufactured and engineered, with intelligence and spy agencies deliberately creating the conditions for war to occur on purpose....FOR PROFIT. We aren't really fighting for real causes anymore. Those of us in the ordinary average population believe we are fighting for causes. I may not agree with some people's beliefs, but if they wholeheartedly believe in what they are fighting for I can reserve some respect....even for Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, and Islamic factions. Around 2018 statues of white men like Andrew Jackson or Christopher Columbus or St. Louis were decapitated or destroyed… All based on bogus reasons as African slave owners have statues of themselves all over Africa. I would feel just as strongly if I saw white people start calling for the destruction of statues of black men who may have owned slaves or if they started to denigrate Black people and say “blacks are privileged” because they owned 1 million white slaves centuries ago.

You misunderstand. Statues of African leaders who own slaves still stand tall in Africa. Slavery was a part of history.

St. Louis did not own any slaves and was in fact well regarded for supporting the poor.

We should pay respect to the history of white and Black people in America. And in no way would that include decapitating statues of Columbus or St. Louis.
