Playing with Fire and highly likely we will "all" get burned - a highly respected, caring-for-the-people, and successful Billionaire's (Warren Buffet) assessment of Trump's tariffs.

and supporting that opinion, here is what a highly popular and successful Republican ex-President had to say about tariffs

and here more information and data on who ends up paying for the tariffs (psst, you and I will be paying for them)

Who Pays Trump’s Tariffs?

President Trump routinely claims that foreigners pay his tariffs, which is false—U.S. importers pay them. Over time, however, foreign exporters can be expected to bear a small but rising burden of the tariffs through price cuts, while most of the cost will be borne by U.S. consumers in the form of higher prices.

If you truly care about yourself, your family and your country, you must oppose Trump's rash and incompetent tariff's raising actions.

Is the same Warren buffet who transports oil on trains which he has interest in both and is not positive on pipelines because he makes massive profits. We were a nation that existed on tariffs at one time. And America in 1980 is not the same in 2025.

Like Reagan clearly stated in his video, "at first, sometimes it could look like a good thing but then only for a short-time".

Bottom line and all FACT. Someone has to pay for the increased costs and that is ALWAYS the consumer. .

/----/ You mean like never-ending higher minimum wages and corporate taxes and regulations? You mean like that?

I suggest you do a further research on Warren Buffett

AI Overview

Warren Buffett is generally more respected than many other prominent billionaires, such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg, according to public opinion polls and media portrayals.
This higher level of respect is generally attributed to several factors:
  • Public Image and Lifestyle: Buffett has cultivated a "guy next door" image due to his relatively simple lifestyle. He still lives in the same modest home in Omaha he bought in 1958, drives an everyday car, and avoids lavish indulgences, which contrasts sharply with the high-profile and often controversial personal behaviors of others in his wealth bracket.
  • Philanthropy: Buffett is a renowned philanthropist who has pledged to give away more than 99% of his wealth, having already donated over $60 billion to charitable causes. He co-founded the Giving Pledge with Bill Gates to encourage other billionaires to donate the majority of their fortunes. This commitment is viewed very positively by the public.
  • Business Ethics and Transparency: While not entirely without criticism, the controversies and scandals surrounding Buffett and his company, Berkshire Hathaway, have remained relatively tame and drama-free over the years compared to other tech and business leaders. His consistent, long-term investment philosophy is seen as reliable and transparent.
  • Relatability: Buffett's straightforward investment advice and communication style are seen as more applicable and understandable to the average person, making him a more trusted figure for investment advice compared to innovative but less conventional figures like Elon Musk.
For example, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 52% of Americans viewed Buffett favorably, compared to 29% for Jeff Bezos and 26% for Mark Zuckerberg. Bill Gates, also highly involved in philanthropy, had a comparable favorability rating of 49%.
In essence, his humility, massive charitable contributions, and stable public persona contribute to a

Lefties sucking billionaire balls, as always.

Optimizing trade agreements is a great and prudent idea. But you don't do it like a ******* ignorant, disordered, juvenile caveman. I don't understand why such a thought needs to be so goddamn complicated for so many.

All of this, ALL of it, could have been quietly and respectfully -- but forcefully -- behind closed doors. But now, because of this lunacy, we've broken critical global relationships it took us 80 ******* years to build, and we've put so much pressure on American businesses with increased costs that we've frozen both supply chains and the job market.

Trump's inflation has been less than 3%. If you like to deal in facts, that's a fact.

If They Won't Take the Hit Themselves, We Must Hit Them Hard

Not if we quit letting GreedHead Robber Barons loot us mercilessly. Why are you taking their side by implying we are helpless against them? It's a Far Right myth that the owners' profit margins are set in stone. If the Sissies in Suitcoats squeeze us any more, we'll break their limp little fists.

This is about taking the wrong way to accomplish something. It is not about "letting them do it to us" but taking a better way. If you have brains, you can always find solutions to everything..............doing it in a way that is less damaging to us.

Not as high as Biden and the dem's 20% total over four years. Please show us your posting where you bashed them.
I don't look at the past but look to the future. The past is done with and cannot be changed by criticizing it. The future can be changed by doing it intelligently and the right way where more good than damage is done. Something that Trump has been incapable of doing his entire life.

I was asking you to post past posts of yours attacking the dems for their high inflation at the time. By the way, the future isn't written yet. We don't knw what it is.
