Plan Dalet - Al-Nakba

Sorry, but the Torah hasn't either. I believe one has to actually FOLLOW the teachings for them to have effect. And no Zionists are actually following the teachings. If you look at my bibliography from awhile back you will see several books written by orthodox Jews of various stripes who do a very good analysis. I am not Jewish and so my vision is bound to be limited. Listen to your own people, the well-meaning thoughtful ones!

But, Amity, the Torah is just the Old Testament. Aren't you confusing it with the Talmud which has the laws about how the Jews should live. The amusing thing is that so many anti-Jewish/anti-Israel posters kept on bringing up all those fake Talmud quotes from the hate sites and they thought that the readers wouldn't catch on to these lies. Even a Muslim woman from India couldn't restrain herself from constantly bring up these lies. Hmm, even David Duke was passing himself off as a Talmudic scholar. So tell us, Amity, I have heard along with others here that there is no compulsion in religion in Islam. Are you trying to actually tell us that no one is being killed in the name of Islam? Perhaps instead of telling the Jews what they should be following, you should be telling your new brethren to have some respect for the religious beliefs of others.

Wow! Sally.
We all know what a great Talmudic scholar Amity is.
Doesn't the Talmud tell Jews to live in the outhouse to make a Moslem happy?

Are you kidding?

Jesus was a Muslim...

Moses was a Muslim...

Abraham was a Muslim...

Just ask one...
;)

I said, read books by Jews on this subject. There are a lot of good ones. I ain't goin' there.

Didn't you know that many Muslims believe we were all Muslims at one time, and we are supposed to revert to Islam?

Everyone's mythology looks funny to other people if they are trying to see it that way. Judaism isn't any less funny than any others. What is that stuff about Lilith anyway?

Well, ya steal some of your religious beliefs from the Jews, ya steal some from the Christians, ya steal some from Zoroastrianism, twist it all so that it's damned-near un-recognizable to all but the practiced eye, ya toss in some mumbo-jumbo about worshipping meteorites, add two dinar worth of camel dung, toss-in a pinch of pedophilia and bigamy, blend thoroughly, cook on high for 632 A.D. minutes, arrange the results in ass-backwards sequence, and you've got a winning formula for the shiftless warrior and the ignorant - a system of empty observances and practices and beliefs.

Hey, I want to talk about Lilith.

Everyone's mythology looks funny to other people if they are trying to see it that way. Judaism isn't any less funny than any others. What is that stuff about Lilith anyway?

You mean you don't know about Lilith? She was the first woman's libber. As Adam's first wife she wanted to be on top, and when he refused, she left him and went down the Nile. Of course different religion beliefs look strange to others. Even different ethnic customs look strange to others. For instance, I can't see Abraham dragging a huge meterorite hundreds and hundreds of miles away even with help from a son, but if Muslims want to believe that, I say to each his own. As long as they aren't killing anyone for their beliefs.

Yes, well, my point is that in addition to the core teachings of any religion, there become encrusted certain, shall we say, folk beliefs that shouldn't be allowed to discredit the religion itself.

How about you ask your new friends about their believing that when Jesus returns he will break all the crosses and preach Islam?

Sally, you should really get some counseling or something to help dissipate your utterly relentless and pointless hatred of Muslims.

You post the strangest stuff. IF some Muslims somewhere preach such a thing, let's not target the whole group.

I think what they would possibly mean would be The Truth. Get over it. Move on.

Actually, Amity, I think the viewers would suggest that you get some counseling. You act like you are non compus mentis. Your Muslim friends are busy murdering so many innocent people, but y ou don't want to gasp that. Your only concern is Israel and not all the murders of innocent people in the rest of the Muslim world. Do you really think that the viewers are so stupid that they don't realize what you are up to? Please give them credit for being able to see right through you.

That's "non compos mentis," Sally. See where reading books can get you?

If you can't tell me where "innocent people are being murdered in the rest of the Muslim world" then cease droning on about nothing. Christians and Muslims seem quite united on the subject of Palestine/Israel, which is the only subject under discussion here. You can't hold me accountable for what Christians might be doing on the other side of the world, and you can't hold Muslim Palestinians accountable for what Muslims are doing on the other side of the world.

I have an idea, let's see how Christians are faring in Israel, shall we?

Muslim Palestinians are the worst of them actually. Just in Lebanon alone they are responsible for the killing of thousands of Lebanese Christians. They celebrated in 9-11 and last week they celebrated the kidnapping of three teenage Israelis. The are a cursed people and scum of the earth. Even the neighboring Arabs don't want to have anything to do with them, and their record shows why.

15th post
Roudy, I'll post more, MUCH more, on this later. Meanwhile, another poem from Mahmoud Darwish for your consideration. Its an allegory:

I am Yousuf, O father.
O father, my brothers do not love me nor want me among them.
They assault me and throw stones and words at me.
They want me to die so they can eulogize me.
They closed the door of your home and left me outside.
They expelled me from the field.
They poisoned my vineyards.
They destroyed my toys, O father.
When the gentle breeze passed by that played with my hair they became jealous
And flamed up with rage against me and flamed up in rage against you, What did I ever do to them O father?
Butterflies perched on my shoulders, Stalks of wheat swayed toward me, And birds rested in my palms.
What did I do O father? And why me?
You named me Yusuf, And they threw me into the well, And accused the wolf, The wolf is more merciful than my brothers.
O father! Did I ever wrong anyone when I said: 'I saw eleven stars, and the sun and moon, I saw them prostrating before me?
