Whatever his politics or his motives, his intent was not to kill innocent people unlike the Dallas sniper who murdered 5 police officers.

That is what makes me unsure he was alive when the bomb was detonated. Everything about this from timing, location, shots fired to draw in police and timed, recorded speaker warning of the bomb was meant to clear out anybody but cops and emergency personnel.

I read that his target was AT&T.

That he was a conspiracy theorist and had bought into the theory that AT&T was part of the "deep state" and using 5G to spy on people or something like that.

The guy was nuts so it's not surprising to me that his motivation was totally nuts.
