Phoenix Zoo closed for rest of day following bomb threat

The Phoenix Zoo was evacuated and will be closed for the rest of the day following a bomb threat called in early Friday afternoon.

I just don't get it.....

I lived in Phoenix in the 60s and I didn't even know they had a zoo. I know where Papago park is and I lived on the other side of Phoenix, but a zoo? Didn't even know it existed.

It's an ok zoo, I used to take my kids there when we lived in Prescott....35-40 years ago.
