I have a highway that splits, left lane veers to the right and goes over a bridge south, right lane veers right and goes under the bridge east
too many people put on their right turn signal, you are not changing direction but following the path of the road
per turn signal you are alerting me you are going to take a hard right and fly off the highway into the ditch

But if the 2 lanes split and only one lane goes each direction, there is really no confusion. Their turn signal can't mean they are about to change lanes if there is only one lane to each of the splits.

Rigby5 right thus you don't need to use any turn signal you just continue to follow your lane as you are not alerting anybody behind you you are changing

or just understand what they are there to do, alert somebody you are taking a right or left turn, it is that simple

been driving for over 30 years without even a speeding ticket, I must be doing something right

Drivers that don't pay attention to the fact that they are just driving along on the freeway with a turn signal on and not changing lanes are a bit annoying.
The worst in my opinion fall into three categories: 1. Red light runners. 2. Tailgaters. 3. Aggressive/speeding drivers.

... and the ones with their left foot touching the brake pedal.

LuckyDuck01! haha you know when somebody has a turn signal on for a mile they are likely elderly or some lady with kids acting up and not paying attention

Seems like only old white people use their turn signals anymore.

If you ever see an 18 wheeler going down the road with its signal on, if its an older model, those didn't have cancelling signals and if a truck has 2 million miles, the light on the dash indicating that it's even blinking might have long burned out, meaning the driver can't even see that it's still on. Also, those older trucks are so loud, if the blinker clicker still even works, chances are he can't hear it.

You can't use turn signals in CA because the prick behind you will try to cut you off when he knows where you're trying to turn.
You don't want to tip off any of those selfish asshole California drivers to your intentions.

LuckyDuck01! well they should or they will end up with points and not being able to drive later in life

You're stereotyping so I'll do a bit of that. The youth today don't give a crap about the rules/laws of safe driving.
No, that's not true. Most city-based accidents are caused by scatter-brained women who have no regard for traffic rules and inferiority-complex men who want to teach them a lesson.
