I hate to break into this thread but I really think that the left is dividing themselves in this country. A few years ago when Bush was in office I was talking with a 'liberal'. We actually agreed with a lot of things to a certain degree. I can tell he hated Bush passionately. That was not how I felt about Bush at all. I was kind of neutral towards him since I really didn't care to much about politics at the time. I thought the "Axis of evil" speech was not good and listing out countries we are going to attack was a bad idea. I actually thought attacking these countries was pointless and unnecessary towards achieving the goals of killing Al-queda. Up until this point we actually go along but the minute I said I happen to watch Rush Limbaugh he seemed to label me as some kind of evil conservative. In his mind I became enemy of the people and was treated as such. My point is is that there is a kind of white-flight that is occurring in the democratic party. It is something that has been occurring since the sixties. Ronald Reagen was a democrat at one time and liked JFK. In his youth he supported FDR. "liberals" might go after the young but as they get older they realize what the democratic party is. A caucus of assholes that no one likes to be around.
