I am willing to bet that most of the readers on this forum are Americans, and Americans are very street smart. They noticed that this Monte character (Haniya) came to this forum about the same time as Defeat67. Haniya didn't post much, but Defeat67 put up so many posts like he had diarrhea of the keyboard. Defeat67 disappeared (we all know why) and now shows up under Haniya's screen name and is following in his fashion as before -- one post after another trying, as so many Muslims do, to demonize Israel. Does Defeat67 have any interest at all in the tens of thousands of innocent people that have been and are still being murdered in the Middle East by his brethren or is his entire purpose for showing up is to continue demonizing Israel as if Israel was the worse, worse country on this planet.

This is my first post here! Any way, I'm very frustrated by the lack of progress being made in the peace process. As an American Jew and someone who has been to Israel on numerous visits, I am very familiar with the situation. Despite the actions of current politicians, I believe peace is possible. Not only is it possible, but the gap in differences is much narrower than we are led to believe. Additionally, some of it is the bickering of pure semantics, definition of words, lack of empathy of the other side, broken promises, impossible expectations, arbitrary starting points, etc.

I seriously believe that peace-minded people of both sides serious about peace can work out a detailed "People's Peace Treaty" and show the World that peace is possible, and that the politicians have failed us thus far in getting it done!

I've thought of answers to all the known sticking points. The solutions are not that complicated. I believe they should be agreeable to both sides. I'm also sure some of you have thought up some solutions of your own, as well. All these solutions could be discussed, debated on, improved, substituted, thrown out, added to, etc. over forums like these until an actual document is edited together and meshed out that could be proposed.

The first step is to get feedback - especially Palestinian feedback - on my ideas. Please, if you're Palestinian, introduce yourself. I'll start discussion and explain some ideas I have after that...

I guess on the other forums that Defeat67 posts on to demonize Israel, the participants have the same mind set as he does. I imagine he doesn't like to see supporters of Israel on this forum. he would rather it be like the other forums in which he participates, which no doubt are hate fests against Israel. If this guy is on so many other forums. I guess his main purpose in life is to demonize the Israelis -- just like other Muslims do.

As far as both the Decamerone and Inferno, they are written in archaic Florentine almost Vulgar Latin. I can translate them into modern Tuscan or Italian (which are very similar except for a few words), if you would like. Would that help you make up your minds?

What could anyone complain about? I only post facts and rarely, if ever, respond in kind to the many personal attacks on me. Do you somehow think that free speech only includes supporting Israel here? You folks are living in a fantasy world, this forum is highly unusual in that it has attracted supporters of Israel for some reason. Go on normal Israel/Palestine forums. The racial abuse of Muslims you perpetrate here, is reason for banning on all other forums I've been.

Anyone can post things that they want others to think are facts, especially when these facts are only someone else's opinion. Your problem, Defeat67, is that you are under the impression that most of the readers here are foolish enough to believe the nonsense you post so you keep on posting away like there is no tomorrow. No, most have been conditioned by the media that is available in the U.S. In the U.S. the media is very careful to limit or refrain from publishing or transmitting anything that is critical of Israel. The education system teaches American children that poor little Israel (good guys) fought off the big bad Muslims (bad guys). Very little mention is made that these good guys attacked, killed and dispossessed not only the Moooslims, but also the Christians indigenous people. Then the internet propagates the lie that the "Arabs" are recent arrivals, when the truth is that the Europeans are the recent arrivals. So with those lies ingrained in your minds, of course it is difficult for you to be objective.
