Perhaps but what if whites are already in receipt of things that blacks are not offered? If one group receives a set of group-specific privileges then why shouldn't the other group as a way of "balancing" the imbalance? Do you agree?

I think it is total wokeness to say that if whites make up 85% of the population and blacks make up 15% of the population, that with anything outside of those parameters it is automatically deemed discrimation. It is not. Blacks make up more than half of the super high paying basketball and football players. That's not discrimination. That's just the way it is. Same applies to other things in reverse and with any other examples you can think of. It's only discrimination if you were actually discriminated against. You can't just assume discrimination based on numbers. Numbers will not be exactly 85/15 in any number of things.

Take crimes for example. If blacks commit 30% of the crimes but are only 15% of the population, it's not because cops are purposely arresting more blacks than whites, it's because blacks really are commiting crimes at a higher percentage than whites. Now, you could argue that there are several reasons for why that is and you would be right, but, it doesn't change the fact that blacks are committing crimes at a higher percentage than whites.

Whites make up most of the football and basketball players, whites make up the most coaches, trainers team doctors, owners General managers, and staff in pro football and basketball corporate franchises. Whites aren't 85 percent of the population and white men are 36 percent of the population. Basketball and football are determined by competition, other jobs aren't.

So your analogy is wrong. Whites aren't 90 percent of the doctors because whites are just so much more skilled in the field of medicine. Whites aren't 90 percent the lawyers/judges because whites are just so much more skilled at law. This is why whites today are 85 percent of something in jobs:
