They were there on Trumps orders to stop Congress from certifying the election.
They carried zip ties to secure captured members of Congress and had bear spray to engage Capitol Police
They stormed through the Capitol not in protest but demanding to know where members of Congress were.
Specifically, they were hunting for Pelosi, AOC and Pence.

All this will come out in the Congressional Incestigation

Why, when protestors had breached the Capitol, did he send a tweet questioning the patriotism of the Vice President?
