You must remember that a larger percentage of Democrats than Republicans don’t even know what a 401(k) is. The ultra-poor make up a very large percentage of their base. They don’t care about 401(k)s or any other investments, just more “free” stuff. This is the danger we are facing in this country. We are very close to the tipping point, where those that have nothing can vote for policies that take money for those that do. That will ultimately lead to our downfall unless Democrats that actually do make money wake up.
