Truthfully, the infrastructure bill they're talking about, $2T, will DWARF anything FDR did. Roosevelt and his CCC used pretty much indentured labor to build his dams and public facilities. Those men worked for a couple dollars a day, 3 hots and a cot. Today's labor costs alone would far exceed anything FDR did. We need to get to work on our roads and bridges immediately but if Trump is wise, he'll wait until January and a new (hopefully GOP House) to start it. Pelousy is a fucking thief and con artist....I don't want her and her commie ilk anywhere near that kind of money going in every direction....they'll steal most it.

"nothing happened"? What did you expect to "happen"? Did it collapse and drop cars into the Hudson? Uh no. You replace bridges so they don't collapse. Same with tunnels. There are hundreds of bridges and tunnels (many on major highways) that are deemed unsafe but there is no money to replace them. So you want to ignore that? I don't. And neither does anybody who has to travel over or through them. Infrastructure repair was a major platform in Trump's 2016 run and remains a top priority as soon as Pelousy is tossed back on the sidelines and a GOP House takes it on.
