House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is being accused of "rich hypocrisy" for hiding video of the entirety of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, and claiming she has sovereign immunity that means she does not have to let the public have the facts about the events of that day.
It is Judicial Watch, a government-watchdog organization, that has been trying to gain access to the video, which comes from hundreds of monitor cameras posted through the Capitol.
Pelosi has refused, so far, to grant any access to the public records.
Judicial Watch now has filed an opposition to a claim from the U.S. Capitol Police department in which it argues that the videos – and related emails and other documents – "are not public records."

Hmmmmm! Seems like a whole lot of 5th and 6th amendment ignoring going on here. Will the tapes be used by the prosecution? If so then the defense should have access to them as well. Or course if certain videos don't follow the program up to now, they'll likely somehow be cleaned. You know, like with a cloth......... And, odd that nanzi vanished about 5 minutes before the crap went down in earnest. Almost like she knew the timing. Weird huh?
