I said/wrote/stated in my OP. Instead of asking your stupid/vapid/disingenuous "questions," why can't you put forth some serious argument to the contrary?
Constantine essentially joined the Western governments together under the cloak of Christianity, however, Constantine was not even a Christian as he continued to worship the pagan gods, although it is rumored that he converted on his death bed.
No, Constantine simply used Christianity for his own devices, probably because he saw it flourishing all around him despite those oppressing the fledgling religion. He probably wanted to adopt some of that resiliency for his own cause.
Christ, however, said that his kingdom is not of this world and would never have condoned the evils done in the name of the state church like the Inquisitions and Crusades and Jewish Ghettos etc. Read 1 Samuel 8 and you will see that God basically condemned mankind from being king over other men, due to their sinful nature and subsequent abuse of the masses, however, the Hebrew people demanded one anyway despite God's warnings. So, they ended up with king Saul as it was not long after that the kingdom divided, and they lost everything, waking up in the ovens of Nazi Germany on down the road.
Nevertheless, the introduction of Christianity into the culture in the West eventually sprang forth, mostly because of the Guttenberg Press giving the masses a Bible to read themselves, along with educating the common folk to read.
