I'm curious if anyone can give me an example of how the "PC police" enforce these so-called "banned words".

Have any of you been arrested for saying "non-PC" words?

If not, what the **** are you guys whining about?

PC doesn't need to be "enforced" to be very, very effective. And that's precisely why it's worked so well for so long.

When a member of the PC crowd wants to... Aw, hell with it, everyknows how its done, I don't need to describe it. And those who like PC will deny it, we'll go around and around, and it'll be a waste of time.

The good news is that PC's effectiveness is beginning to wane, and as a First Amendment purist, and as an advocate of intellectual honesty, I'm just tickled about that.

"I don't like Obamacare."

But I'm not going to be called a racist by someone who is just trying to deflect away from the point and put me on the defensive. Anyway, I'm seeing more of that lately. That's a good thing. I'm confident the momentum will continue.

You people have used labels( racist, for example) so many times, they have lost any meaning. For all intents and purposes, the charge of RACIST has the same tone as an aluminum can being dropped into a trash can.
Or, RACIST gets all the attention of a blaring car alarm in a suburban shopping mall parking lot....Nobody cares.

I think it was never really there to begin with. The hypersensitivity is, in my opinion, on your part. You have heard/read/witnessed a few cases of people being offended by the comments of others.....and decided that it is an epidemic with real consequences.

The 'waning' is more likely your realization that nobody really gives a shit and that there is no list of words that e can't use anymore. Take a look at these forums. What words have been abandoned? Seriously. You need a new crusade.
