Did they buy it 100%? Like the royalties and toys etc? Maybe they paid too much, or it’s possible Sesame Street is past its prime and no longer the force it was and is just the adults fond memories of something that once was. If that’s the case it’s another reason we shouldn’t be using tax dollars to prop it up.
