Why would some watch that radical left propaganda? You don't even understand history in the first place. The Democrats defended slavery, and slaves were freed by the Republicans.
Flash forward to 1960s, the Republicans supported civil rights by a large measure, while the Democrats did not.
Flash forward to today, the Democrats feed into racism for two purposes. One for political support. Two to keep black people down by making excuses for them, and by supporting segregation.

I KNOW history better than you ever will.
Republicans tried making slavery permanent by a constitutional amendment to appease southern states so they would not leave. That amendment was called the Corwin Amendment. Flash forward to the 1960's and more Democrats voted for the civil rights and voting rights acts than Republicans and a Democratic president signed both into law.
In 1964, Republicans decided to nominate a presidentia candudate that oposed the civi rigts act. Thats how much Republicans supported the Civil Rights Act.
Fast forward to today and Republicans are openly racist, opposing all equal opportunity policies and defending the right for schools to teach that slavery was beneficial. Your last 3 sentences are prime examples of the racism that exists in the Republican party today.
You call yourself idiocracy for a reason.

It doesn't, but it's interesting to note that when you see the various presentations of authors, groups, politicians etc, you always come away feeling like the U.S. are the only ones guilty of the practice of slavery. It's not until you dig down that you discover that the U.S. played a minor role WHEN YOU COMPARE what went on south of our border.
In recent years I've read that Woodrow Wilson was quite a racist, hadn't known that about him. I believe Harry S Truman was too for a good while. Then WWII came along and that had quite a bearing on civil rights for both blacks and whites as the people came to contemplate the NAZI's superior race bull crap. Most of the video was a walk down memory lane starting in the 1960's.
One error, the video stated that Hubert Humphrey's home state was Texas. Not so, he was from Minnesota. Plus it played down the final nail in the coffin for blacks and the Republican Party. I'd suggest it occurred in 1964 with the nomination of Barry Goldwater by the Republicans. Goldwater was a state rights advocate who voted against 1964's Civil Rights Act and even lifelong Republican Jackie Robinson abandoned the party for the Democrats. MLK Jr. said of the 1964 election, "I had no alternative but to urge every Negro and white person of goodwill to vote against Mr. Goldwater and to withdraw support from any Republican candidate that did not publicly disassociate himself from Senator Goldwater and his philosophy."
One movie from back then was Black Like Me. I watched it once, that had to be at least 55 years ago, will catch it again in next day or two.
