Ivanka says her father will ensure pay equity for women, close the "Mommy Gap", and provide affordable child care for all.

I was wondering how her promises to women were going down with Newt, Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOP.

So who provides this "affordable" care for children? Typically, single women are child care providers. So if you are only paying her what is according to you "affordable"..then where is her pay equity?

As with all things Trump, there were no details - nothing. Just broad brush promises.

No, Democrats aren't fear mongerers. That's a Republican tactic. Republicans imagine a terrible problem, and then carry on as if it's real, and then seek a solution that isn't needed, all the while ignoring REAL problems which desperately need solutions.

I did not comment about fear mongering....... different conversation.

Democrats are the ones who said we had to pass Obamacare or poor people and gramos were going to die. At the time I thought they were fear mongering....but now I think maybe it was a threat.

"Affordable child care" means the government is going to reach into your pocket to pay for it.
