Lets not forget that congress stole the trust fund for SS. Not one member of congress or the POTUS has offered to take a cut in pay or benefits. I know the amount would be insignificant but the gesture would be huge.

Did you think about that when you were supporting the raiding of SS and medicare to fund planned parenthood? How about when they decided that people who lived in another country could slip and and sign up for government sustenance? Was it on your mind when they spent a trillion dollars for union thug votes? Or how about when they decided to do research on the exercise habits of shrimp? That money sure would have come in handy when you get to retirement, eh?

How about all those other wasted programs that take up nearly 1 trillion dollars in spending for people and programs that really care for those who can care for themselves?

It's not realistic. Hospital and Doctors area already dropping Medicare patients in droves, they simply cannot afford to take them.

In Colorado 2/3 of Doctors refuse or limit Medicare patients.

they just go to another doctor if their doctor refuses to accept medicare....at least that is how it has worked so far....

insurance companies ALSO do NOT pay anywhere near the Doctor's ''asking'' price as well!

ALSO, it's all a tax gimmick for Doctors to list a very high price, claiming it to be his normal price, then they take a tax right off between the difference is my understanding of it....in your example, between the $50 and the $25, which equals $25 to write off.

and in my State of Maine, they were sued by the insurance companies who wanted to raise the price in the double digits, but were held back slightly...my State had to pay for their defense of the lawsuit from the insurance company....so even that, cost us money.
