And he isn't coming up with this because he has evidence. He's coming up with this because his ego can't cope with losing.

If this (and further attempts) turn out to be nothing, they'll have to come up with new excuses if this term ends with no crimes.

Imagine how many people would have to been involved in something this big. Imagine how many people would have at least KNOWN about it.

So far, nothing. But I guess we'll see.
