Party Loyalty is Poison

When I look it the "inliers", when I look at the partisan core of "loyal" Ds and Rs, I want no part of it. You people are seriously fucked up.
Id say someone who...ummm stadles a fence is fucked up

The left has shown us what they are.

I reject what they want. I HAVE PICKED A SIDE

Chase was a stupid nominee.
And the LP facebook groups, there still too many wanting open borders or something close.

The LP screwed themselves when they went left, and abandoned the American working class normal people.
The Libertarian party is not the answer. And I say that as a lifelong libertarian (associating off and on with the party itself). That's where my convictions lie, probably always will.

But I believe we're facing an existential crisis as a nation. If we can't embrace the fact that we're all on the same side we're going to continue our descent.

To put it another way, "United we stand, divided we fall."

Yep. You're the problem.

Happy to be so.

I refuse to agree with the lefts agenda.

They dont compromise. Why should I?

I think you are the problem. Too cowardly to pick a side

I'm sure to do. That's the mindset of the frightened party loyalist. The only thing you hate worse than your avowed enemy, is those of us who call bullshit on your entire game.

Baloney.

The left are lunatics. People flee their states.

If you are too stupid to see that it is your problem.

I won't say it's easy to stand off to the side and be critical.

But I have to wonder what real solutions you envision.

Don't tell me about not voting for either candidate. That's stupid.

The solution will be to recruit some good candidates.

What are you doing to help that.

Any other ideas are welcomed.

Well, wonder no more! The single biggest dysfunction of US politics is our election process and the "lesser-of-two-evils" mindset it promotes. It wouldn't be an instant fix, but better voting systems like ranked choice or approval voting will do a lot to bring sanity back to the political landscape.

Don't tell me about not voting for either candidate. That's stupid.
Not nearly as stupid as voting for a bad candidate because you're afraid of a worse candidate. But RCV does away with the LO2E nonsense.
The solution will be to recruit some good candidates.
And nominate them. The two party system has proven incapable of doing this.
What are you doing to help that.
Lots of things. First and foremost is the effort to raise awareness. But awareness isn't always welcome.
Any other ideas are welcomed.
Getting back to the ideal of a united nation is also vital. Hardcore Ds and Rs see the "other side" as more of a threat than avowed foreign enemies like Russia and China.

Ultimately we need real leaders, but we won't get that until we refuse to accept less

Party Loyalty has destroyed American politics. Both sides are cults, though when compared - one has to choose between the lesser of two evils.

Nope. One can reject both. That's really our only way out of this mess.

Both still exist no matter what, and both will remain for the foreseeable future. I'd rather the one I tolerate the most than the one I tolerate the least.

That's perpetuating the problem. Please stop.
